that comes up on Little Snitch every time I startup my Imac.

Facebook nor any internet browser is active or open and the warning from
Little Snitch opens up saying that java.facebookupdate wants to connect to update Facebook.

I really do not trust facebook & why the heck is it trying to connect when I am not even online?

Here is how I removed java.facebookupdate

Removal for me was pretty easy.

Open your main hard drive MAC HD or whatever your system folder is on.

In your Main HD navigate to Users, then User home, Library, Application Support then I deleted the Facebook folder.

It had a video folder in it and something else.

I just deleted the whole Facebook folder.

What I think happend one of my friends wanted to use the new Facebook feature Video Chat.

It uses Skype built into Facebook & installs Facebook Skype in the above folder on your computer.

If you use Facebook to Video Chat then I wouldn’t delete the Facebook folder.

For me, if I want to video chat I will just use standalone Skype.
